The first thing you need to do is check that your gas and electricity bills are based on actual readings and are not estimated. The energy suppliers at times estimate and these estimates can be much more than you are actually using – costing you a small fortune.
Once you have your bill accurate, shop around! There is many more energy suppliers on the market now than there once was, and they are all competing for your business. Companies frequently offer an additional twenty percent discount on your bills thanks o these simple tips.
Similarly, it is possible for you to speak with your mortgage provider to find a better deal, saving you hundreds. Again, you need to shop around to make sure that you are getting the right mortgage for your needs.
Food shopping is stressful at the best of times, but when you are greeted with a huge food bill, it can turn into a nightmare. There is, however, a way to reduce your overall shopping bill from anywhere between 20 to 50 percent.
Like most people, when doing my food shop, I head straight for the branded product. But by swapping from your usual branded product to the market owns brand, or even better, their value range, you can save fifty percent of your shopping bill. I know that there may be a few items that you feel you can not downgrade to the value range, we all have those, but by swapping a branded tin of soup for a value one, you will save a huge amount of money and frequently, if you do not tell the person you have swapped the product for a cheaper version, they won’t even notice!
These are just a few of the many ways that you can save a substantial amount of money. If you begin to make educated and conscious choices you too could be feeling richer in no time!
